Spa Days for Days
Sensuous treatments to help you prepare for or celebrate the big day, from soothing facials to romantic couples' massages, plus manis, pedis, and poolside sips.
1. Away Spa, W Austin
The Vibe: This fourth-floor urban retreat captures W’s chic contemporary aesthetic while offering a quiet escape from the bustle of Austin’s Warehouse District. Looking to celebrate together? “Couples often visit after having just gotten engaged or right after they’ve tied the knot, and it’s usually for our signature couples massage,” says Away Spa director Candice Betz. “You can’t go wrong with an amazing massage with the one you love in our VIP couples room. And of course we provide a glass of bubbly to each spa guest, which is such a sweet treat.” Afterward, show off your post-spa glow while enjoying margaritas and pulled-pork tacos in the W’s vinyl LP–themed Records Room bar.
For the Brides: A voluptuous four-hour treat for the entire body, the Bride’s Renewal package includes a scrub, wrap, massage, hydro-lifting facial, manicure, and pedicure. $410
For the Grooms: With a surprisingly reasonable price tag, the Groom’s Escape comes with a manicure, pedicure, and 45-minute facial using lauded Jack Black skincare products. “We apply Face Buff,” Betz says, “which is a wonderfully gritty scrub. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth—it’s brilliant.” $145
2. Four Seasons Houston Spa
The Vibe: Having added plush treatment rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms with steam saunas, and plenty of state-of-the-art equipment following a just-completed $3 million renovation, the spa and fitness center at this luxe downtown roost lives up to the brand’s unparalleled reputation for elegance and hospitality. Lunch beside the snazzy outdoor pool is included in both packages described below.
For the Brides: For full-on pampering, book the Blushing Bride package—you’re treated to a stress-releasing massage, aromatic body polish, facial, and signature hand and foot rituals. $425
For the Grooms: The Wellness Retreat will leave you glowing radiantly. It includes an essential-oil massage and customized facial, along with the hand and foot ritual. $325
3. Woodhouse Day Spa, Hotel Contessa San Antonio Riverwalk

The hotel is served by the acclaimed Woodhouse Day Spa, which has several other locations in the area, including the upscale Westin Riverwalk, another lovely place to stay in downtown San Antonio.
For the Brides: The Woodhouse Escape is a full-body ritual that includes seven key treatments, including a sea salt body polish, hot-towel massage, neck and shoulder treatment, volcanic-stone massage, hand and foot rituals, head and scalp massage, and facial acupressure. $245
